If the issue is mostly at idle or just off idle, and your fuel economy has deteriorated a bit, the condition of the oxygen sensor might also be worth checking if it isn't known to have been replaced.
About 12 months ago, I was hopeful that a replacement oxygen sensor might eliminate my infrequent but noticeable stalling problem, which at the time was happening about once every 2 weeks.

I replaced the original sensor with an identical "plug & play" NTK genuine sensor at about 170,000km.

    NTK part #: OZA548M5

Unfortunately, the stalling problem persisted until the AFM was replaced - but fuel economy improved by a small amount.

I would say the original sensor must have still been reasonably close to correct "spec".

Average fuel consumption for the current tank full is 10.8 litres per 100 km, mainly country @ higher than average cruise speeds, which is not too bad for the heavier AWD version.
